Ben's Garden
Sweet Owl Decoupage Glass Tray
A little woodland wisdom, caught beneath glass. This sweet owl sits calmly on her branch, watchful and luminous, with amber eyes, feathered markings, and soft green leaves that feel lifted from the margin of an old naturalist’s field book. She brings the room a quiet kind of charm: curious, knowing, slightly enchanted, and just unusual enough to make people lean in.
Handcrafted in the French tradition of decoupage, each bent-glass tray is made in our New York studio and individually signed by Ben. The artwork is applied in reverse beneath the glass, preserving every delicate line and painterly detail while creating Ben’s signature sense of depth and light. The back is felted, the surface is food safe and wipe-clean, and the piece arrives with a folded card explaining the time-honored decoupage process.
Beautiful on a bedside table, desk, bookshelf, entryway console, or cocktail tray, it holds jewelry, keys, sweets, calling cards, or nothing at all. It is also lovely displayed upright on a gallery easel, or hung with a plate hanger as a small piece of art with very good manners.
