The Ben's Garden Declaration

About us, and our real Ben

This is Ben’s Garden.

This is a home where we celebrate a more meaningful world.

It began, as many enduring things do, with a paintbrush, a practiced eye, and a deep respect for images that already carried a history. Drawn to antique books, handwritten letters, and timeworn maps, Ben Busko began creating objects that felt personal and considered—pieces marked by wit, warmth, and intention.

Ben’s Garden has grown steadily, by hand, over decades of design and craft. In a New York City studio filled with paper, glass, ink, and light, traditional techniques like French découpage are practiced much as they have been for centuries: patiently, meticulously, and with reverence for the process. Each design is layered beneath glass, fired into permanence, and finished by skilled artisans who understand that beauty reveals itself in restraint and detail. Nothing here is rushed. Nothing is incidental.

This is a world built on sentiment and devotion—to craft, to meaning, to the small objects that quietly shape how we live. We believe the things we keep close should hold memory, affection, and a sense of intention. These are pieces meant to be lived with and passed along, present in both the everyday and the extraordinary.

Today, Ben’s Garden is carried in our own retail stores and by upscale home shops and galleries around the world, welcomed into homes that value beauty with a thoughtful point of view. The collections continue to evolve, but the philosophy remains unchanged: honor craftsmanship, celebrate artisans, and believe that excellence lives in the details—and that the spaces we live in and our homes are defined by the personality we choose give them.
