This golden daisy opens wide beneath the crystal, all warm amber petals and deep, earthy center, as though it has been saving a small piece of afternoon sun just for you. Drawn from a vintage botanical illustration, it carries the uncomplicated optimism of a flower that turns its face toward the light.

The artwork is magnified beneath a luminous dome of genuine French crystal, dramatically heavier and more brilliant than ordinary glass. Handcrafted in our New York studio using the time-honored art of découpage, each paperweight measures 3.5" × 3.5" × .675" and is finished with a softly felted back. A folded card sharing the story of this centuries-old technique accompanies every piece.
