Ben's Garden

"It's Impossible," Said Pride Decoupage Tray

$40

"It’s impossible," said pride. "It’s risky," said experience. "It’s pointless," said reason. And then, softly, the heart whispered: give it a try. This little altar to possibility gathers that familiar argument and seals it beneath crystal glass, a modern-day talisman for anyone still listening for the quiet yes.

Handcrafted in our New York studio in the French tradition of découpage, the artwork is laid in reverse beneath bent glass, sealed with fine varnishes, and burnished until it seems to glow from within. Each tray is individually signed by Ben. The surface is smooth, food-safe, and wipes clean; the felted back lands softly on marble and wood. Display it on a gallery easel, or let it catch rings, keys, and a favorite teacup. A folded card detailing the time-honored process accompanies every piece.

Keep it on your desk as a compass, or gift it to someone stepping bravely into the unknown.
