European Peacock Red Butterfly 4" Round Glass Coaster

A flicker of red lands on the table and holds your gaze. The Scarlett moth butterfly opens its painted eyespots, ember and indigo against warm wings, like a page torn from a naturalist’s field book. It turns a pour into a little moment, part specimen, part celebration.

Each coaster is made by hand in our New York studio in the French decoupage tradition. The artwork is laid in reverse on the underside, paper and glass joined with varnish, then carefully trimmed and burnished so the image blooms through crystal with depth and light. The surface stays smooth to the touch, the round glass form measures 4 inches, a subtle raised rim gathers stray drops, and the felted back protects marble, wood, and lacquer.

Sold individually, it invites you to build your own menagerie or crown a single spot at the bar cart. Negroni or nightcap, coffee or tea, this small winged visitor makes it feel considered.
