Ben's Garden

Lost And Found Newspaper Letters Decoupage Glass Tray

$36

A love letter to the art of print, this tray feels like it was plucked from the back room of an old newspaper office, where type drawers once overflowed with mismatched letters, stray serifs, and unexpected color. Each character in LOST AND FOUND comes from a different alphabet entirely—little fragments of history, each with its own quirks, weight, and personality. Together, they form a message that feels both nostalgic and delightfully alive.

Handcrafted in our New York atelier using Ben’s signature French decoupage technique, the bent-glass form magnifies every delicious imperfection: the soft bleed of ink, the subtle shadow of a serif, the handmade charm of vintage typography before computers tamed it. Signed individually by Ben, each tray becomes its own collage of character and craft.

Food-safe, wipe-clean, and backed in soft felt, it is equal parts witty and practical. Hang it on the wall with a plate hanger, prop it on a gallery easel, or leave it by the door to catch all the little things that are always disappearing—keys, receipts, memories waiting to be rediscovered.

A reminder that the most beautiful things in life are rarely uniform, and often found in unexpected combinations.
